Our Animal Welfare Philosophy
At Fresh Chicken Farm, animal welfare is not just a regulatory requirement but a fundamental ethical responsibility. We adhere to the Five Freedoms of animal welfare: freedom from hunger and thirst, freedom from discomfort, freedom from pain, injury or disease, freedom to express normal behavior, and freedom from fear and distress. Our care standards meet and often exceed European Union animal welfare directives.
Every decision we make regarding housing, nutrition, health management, and daily care is evaluated through the lens of animal welfare. We believe that healthy, comfortable birds naturally produce better quality eggs and contribute to a more sustainable farming operation.
Veterinary Health Programs
